Aqua Ultraviolet These ultraviolet chambers are the state-of-the-art in the industry. Energy efficient, high intensity lamps that are housed in patented UV resistant housings. Limited lifetime housing warranty through manufacturer. A dependable way of controlling single cell algae (pea soup), bacteria, and protozoa present in the pond environment. A healthy pond should have 1/4" - 1/2" of green algae attached to the sides, but you should be able to see through the water to the bottom. Lamps should be replaced every 14 months to insure optimum intensity and effectiveness. Stock units in white. Black available through special order.
